Crow, shapeshifter and keeper of the sacred law, speaks to me at twilight and in the early mornings. Crow gathers in groups, sometimes filling the trees by the dozens, sending up a cry of alarm or warning.
I imagine the crows are calling forth judicial courts with their pronouncements upon human folly and the desecration of their lands.
Here they are, in flight, resting, catching the electric wires as their perch, as the last of the setting sun sends color all around them.
